EzeeMoving Packers and Movers: Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Ezeemoving! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the expectations for both Ezeemoving and you when using our packing and moving services.

Booking & Cancellation

Securing Your Booking:

  • To confirm your moving date and services, we require a booking deposit of ₹1,000.

Confirmation and Communication:

  • Once your payment details and moving details are verified, you’ll receive a moving confirmation number via WhatsApp from the Ezeemoving team. This confirms your scheduled moving date and booking.

Free & Easy Rescheduling:

  • Need to change your moving date? No problem! Just let us know at least 3 days in advance of your original move date, and we’ll reschedule your move free of charge.

Cancellations & Last-Minute Changes:

  • Last-Minute Cancellation/Rescheduling: If you cancel or reschedule your move after our team and vehicle have arrived at the pickup location, you will be responsible for the full cost of the services booked. This includes charges for the vehicle, team members, and any other resources allocated for your relocation.

We understand that plans can change, but please note that once our team and vehicle are dispatched, they are reserved exclusively for your move. This incurs costs for us, including travel expenses and the allocation of resources that could have been utilized for other customers.

2. Service Scope & Exclusions

  • Scope: We provide packing, loading, transportation, and unloading services as per the agreed-upon quote.

3. Customer Responsibilities:

  • Society Charges: Any society entry/exit or lift charges are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Permissions: Obtaining necessary permission from housing societies entry and exit.
  • Third-Party Services: Standard quotes do not include AC removal/installation, appliance disconnection/connection, etc. These services can be added for an additional fee. Please specify any additional services you require during your quote request.
  • AC uninstallation and fitting: AC installation and uninstallation requires specialized knowledge and tools to handle refrigerants and ensure proper functionality. It’s not include in given quote.  
  • Gas Cylinders: Only empty gas cylinders can be transported.
  • Emptying: Empty of fridge / refrigerator and water from geyser.
  • Plants: Transportation of live plants is at the customer’s risk.
  • Item Valuation: Declare the value of individual goods for insurance purposes during packing.
  • Transit Bolts: Provide transit bolts for front-loading washing machines.
  • Packing Material: Packing materials belong to EzeeMoving and will be collected after unpacking.
  • Fuel: 2-3 liters in your two-wheelers. Cars need a minimum of 10 liters of fuel (For at door delivery in case transportation vehicle not entry in your area).
  • Electronic Damages: Internal electronic damages are not covered unless there’s clear external damage from transit. 
  • Storage: Inform us in advance if storage is needed due to an unprepared destination. Extra charges apply.
  • Documentation: Provide photocopies of ID proof (PAN card, Aadhaar, etc.) and vehicle documents (RC, insurance, PUC) for transport.
  • Valuables: Keep cash, jewelry, and important documents in your custody.

4. Packing & Materials

  • Packing Materials: Owned by EzeeMoving and will be collected after unpacking.
  • Material Retention: Retaining packing materials requires mutual agreement and may incur extra charges.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • GST: GST (Goods and Services Tax) will be applicable as per government SGST and CGST rates on packing and moving services.
  • Revised Rates: Prices may be adjusted based on the actual volume of goods after packing.
  • Balance Payment: 100% upon completion of loading at the origin point.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, credit card, and debit card via payment gateway.

6. Insurance & Liability

  • Insurance: Minimum ₹50,000 transit insurance is mandatory. We recommend insuring your belongings against all risks.
  • Damage Claims: Claims for damages during transit will be handled according to the insurance policy.
  • Limited Liability: We are not liable for damage caused by accidents, natural calamities, etc.

7. Documentation Requirements

To ensure a smooth and legal relocation process, we require the following documentation:

For Household Goods Shifting:

  • Photocopies of ID Proofs: Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN card, driver’s license, voter ID, passport, etc.) of the person who owns the household goods being shifted.

For Two-Wheeler and Car Transportation:

  • Government-issued ID Proof: Aadhaar, PAN card, driver’s license, voter ID, passport, etc. of the vehicle owner.
  • Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC): A copy of the RC for your two-wheeler or car.
  • Insurance Policy: A copy of the valid insurance policy for your two-wheeler / bike or car.

These documents are necessary for verification purposes, ensuring the safety and security of your belongings and compliance with legal regulations during transport. Your cooperation in providing this information is greatly appreciated.

Please Note: We handle all personal information with the utmost confidentiality and adhere to strict privacy guidelines.

8. General Terms

  • Consignment Tracking: Available online using the consignment/LR number.
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Disputes: Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Ahmedabad (Head Office).

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

EzeeMoving Packers and Movers, reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised Terms on our website.
